Thanks for your feedback. This doesn't work for me at all. As you mention, I do use additional monitors regularly, but the correspondence between when and how I use them and when I lose entire windows is arbitrary.
I have a virtual machine running in VirtualBox that appears nowhere, although the VirtualBox Manager is visible. Here are the results from following the above instructions:. I prefer the taskbar at the top of the screen. Hovering reveals two icons, the Vbox Manager and the VM itself which is what i'm trying to recover. Neither has a context menu after right-clicking. There's no right-clicking with the taskbar on top--it's not even an option.
Presumably the context menu is above the screen, but there's nothing to click. I relocated the taskbar to the bottom, hovered, right-clicked and selected "Move". Pressing the arrow key changes the cursor into a four-pronged shape, like a plus-sign with 4 protruding arrows.
But there is no outline or shadow of a window that accompanies it--there is only the newly shaped cursor. Moving it anywhere visible and clicking produces the underwhelming result of turning the cursor back to normal. No window, no nothing. There used to be an XP or Win7 trick that involved a similar process but required moving the cursor and then pressing Ctrl-Space. It won't take a lot from you, but it will help us grow.

If you cannot click on the title bar or if the window is not at all visible on the main screen, it becomes very hard to drag it to the main screen and use it. In this quick and simple guide, let show how you can move off screen window in the Windows operating system.
Step 1: Click on the program to make it come into focus. You can do that by clicking on the program icon on the taskbar. Best Wireless iPhone Earbuds. Best Bluetooth Trackers. Best eReaders.
