It has been years since I've played Morrowind, but the time I spent on that game is truly monumental. Probably spent more time on it than any other game, ever.
Anyhow, I played and spent a lot though nowhere near as much as Morrowind of time on Oblivion. I think overall Morrowind is a better game, but Oblivion has me a bit spoiled on the graphics and ease of use.
Have many of you made the transition back? What was your experience? And another question, all I hear about is all the great mods there are for PC. What are considered some of the premiere, must have mods? Thanks for any input. There are many mods that improve the graphics quality. You should make sure to download Better Bodies. Texture replacers are also a good idea; there are many complete replacers available, which I usually overwrite with Darknut's and Connary's individual texture packs.

I bought Morrowind in , but never really played it, was too busy waiting for Oblivion and TES 3 was my first TES game, so it was beyond hard to play back then for me and when Oblivion came I also have the Ranger Tent mod carryable tent that weighs lbs, can store as much as you want in it and that was my first mod when i bought the game DarthVader 13 years ago 5.
A must for any Oblivion fan looking for a fresh look. Download Oblivion Graphics Extender. Download Oblivion Mod Manager. If you find yourself experiencing some performance issues, namely stutters and an uneven frame rate, see if this mod will fix your problems.
Oblivion is certainly no exception, and you may find it struggling even on the beefiest of PCs. This mod should fix your problems.

This overhaul mod changes that, making different areas have different level caps for enemies, and making the wilderness of Oblivion more dangerous and unpredictable. It also tweaks a number of other things, like making magic easier to cast, and making the AI for animals smarter and more reactive. Download Oblivion XP. The Enhanced Camera mod overhauls the first-person camera mode, making it so you can actually look down at your own body!!
A cool little mod that makes Oblivion more immersive, and makes playing in first-person more permanent. Download Enhanced Camera. If you ever get bored of silent, unvoiced protagonist, this mod might be for you. It gives your character dozens of new combat shouts, battle cries, and more.

Deadly Reflex is a mod that aims to add some much-needed depth and strategic layering to the combat of Oblivion. No longer will you simply be swinging and slashing in the general direction of your enemies.
It adds a number of new moves and abilities you can use in combat, such as a dodge, the ability to stun enemies, and a well-timed finisher move. There are also some pretty brutal stealth kill animations.
Download Deadly Reflex. So wearing a clothing item not done for your body can only be achieved anymore by enforcing it. Believe me it's not meant that way. Just trying to tell all the facts. I dont' think clothing is the problem since I see it when there is no clothing worn. I had to fix it by grabbing a foot texture from another mod and copying it over the bad one.
It's just a pain that's all. What about UFF? I see that paired with Robert's male body alot. This is very beautiful and nicely realistic. There is nvde and there is undies version. It's both in the same download. It is maybe less cartoonish, less "perfect", less "flawless".
And I play the undies version. I get too distracted by the nvde version When I looked at the 'nakid' character in game, the foot had a full body nvde texture on it. Course I could wear shoes and cover it up. In fact I noticed it when I stripped a dead bandit and saw her foot.
I had another mod using HGEC as the base that a friend made for me. I copied the foot texture from that mod over to my game directory, and that fixed the foot texture.
